About

I am a mother and wife, a sister and a daughter, I am also a friend, but above all I am a human being that cares, feels and needs. I think love is the most beautiful emotion that God gave us. With this feeling we acquire the need of caring for someone else, to stop being selfish and to thrive for a better place to coexist, to live in harmony, love and peace.

I care for my family's well being. I want my daughter to have a brilliant future. I want my husband to walk with me as my dearest friend holding my hand while facing every aspect of life. For me, family is a blessing and every moment I spend with them is a treasure to keep. Memories are all we have from our existence. Sadly, with time these precious memories can disappear. It's just human nature to forget even if we don't want to.

This is why I am in love with photography. I am constantly striving to capture strong emotional images that speak for itself. It's all about remembering pieces of our lives, the time we spend with our dearest that makes a photo so valuable.

I am passionate about lighting. What does it tell us? The contrast between new and old, beauty and ugly, light and dark is something I portray in my pictures. We can always find beauty when we least expect it. It all depends in the way we approach things. Every frame has a story. What's yours?

Words from a human being

I was born in New York and raise in Puerto Rico. I am currently living in San Juan. I studied photography since tenth grade in Central Visual Arts High School, located in the same city. I graduated in 2005 receiving an art scholarship and the Magno Art award, recognizing me as the top photography student in my class. I graduated with a major in Photography and a minor in Graphic Design at Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico. In 2009 I finished with distinction at the top of my class, also received awards including Summa Cum Laude, All American Student Award and Excellency Award.

In 2013, Scarlett, my beautiful daughter was born. I am watching her grow and trying to be the best mom I can possibly be. Portraying every part of her steps is as precious as the water we drink. We can buy flowers, nice cars, jewels among other objects and life style but with time all of those things will disappear or lose its beauty, but memories will always be important.
